The short version

We collect the details you give us when you sign up, we use them to run your account, and we don't sell them to anyone. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

02

What we collect

When you ask for a free check: your website, your main service, the area you serve and your email address. We also record the questions we asked, where we asked them, and what we saw.

When you sign up: your name, business name, website, email address and — if you give it — your phone number.

When you pay: your payment reference and the fact a payment arrived. We never see or store your bank login, and we can't take money from your account. A standing order is set up and controlled by you.

When you contact us: whatever you send in a message or email.

03

Why we use it

To carry out a free check and email you the result, to set up and run your account, to match your payments, to send you your monthly updates and service emails, and to answer you when you get in touch. The legal basis is performing our contract with you, taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the service properly.

We use your email address to send you the result of a free check and to follow up on it once. We don't add you to a marketing list.

05

Who else sees it

Only the suppliers we need to run the service: our hosting and database provider, and our email provider. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell or share your details for advertising.

06

How long we keep it

For as long as you're a client, and up to six years afterwards where we need it for accounting and tax records. Ask us to delete anything we don't have to keep and we will.

07

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@preselected.app and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies. Browser storage remembers your motion preference and, for the browsing session, a broad referral source and which steps have been counted. Admin sign-in stores authentication information; the admin measurement tool also keeps local answer drafts for recovery. Aggregate visit events are stored on our server. Private report links are not included in normal funnel tracking.
